Jul 17: Memorial

Plymouth Hoe

We went to Plymouth for some pre-wedding shopping - a shirt & tie for the big day (yes I know I'm posting this a month after but hey, it's film and it's worth the wait)

Later, we walked up to the Hoe, the first time we'd been up there. This is where Sir Francis Drake played bowls before giving the Spanish Armada what for. This memorial remembers those who died in the service of the Royal Navy during the two world wars and is guarded by four lions.

Shot on 5 year expired Fuji 400 in the Oly Trip. The film has lost its linear response and although exposed as 160 ASA, the shadows, especially blues are dark. The result is a weird glowing look which I quite like on some of the pictures. Exposed at 400 I'd have had very little image at all...

Olympus Trip 35 ,Fujicolor Superia 400
Expired film so given extra exposure at 160 asa full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Looks quite portentious.
