I took the Lurker out on the road today for its MoT test (annual inspection). But first a few more little jobs. I checked the tyre pressures, topped up the washer bottle and re-fitted the seat belts. They're not a legal requirement on a car this old, but with drum brakes a very hard metal dashboard and no airbags, I'm not going to drive it without!

So, jobs complete we headed out onto the road for the first time in 3 years. Everything worked fine. It went, cornered and stopped really well. It's three or four miles to the test station and once out of the village we bounded along at an easy 60mph.

So how did the test go? It passed of course!
