Or so we hope. We've had all the damp plaster stripped back to the bare stone to try to cure the problem. The base coat that had previously been used was acting like a sponge and 'pulling' water in through the wall. This is a breathable damp seal and I think it looks pretty good just like this. But tomorrow, our man Dennis is back to start the build up to a smooth plaster finish.
