Oh, yes... I have a copy of LR on the computer at work and love doing my processing there (when I take pictures) compared to the laptop at home...

I have yet to even use the bridge in PS let alone try lightroom . . . . but WOW what space!!! Next you'll have a 52" plasma on the wall instead of a monitor!
