Verbena Academy - Built 1882; originally housed grades 1-12 until the high school was built.
It then served as a grammar school until the late 1930's. Later the Masons used the upstairs
for meetings and Verbena United Methodist used the downstairs for Sunday school.
Demolished in 1979.
