Of course, Brian is correct. The pavilion ramp moved at least once, from outside by the oil wells to ‘inside’ up against the wall in the barbecue area – or was it the other way around? In any case, there’s a tree branch in the foreground of this shot, so no way it was the pavilion ramp. I was thinking this was a back yard somewhere in Mar Vista. Those back yard ramps got dismantled pretty quickly when they were discovered by invading skateboard hoards. I have just a few shots from that day – it was getting dark – but I posted another one of them in the “Some Ramps” gallery: https://pbase.com/venicepix/image/45151279

It sure was. We all rode that rickety thing and had the splinters to prove it. this looks like when it was redone. It is so smooth.
