My son just found this same type of bone washed up in Manchester, WA. Did you ever determine what it is? Pam Lindgren, Port Orchard, WA

This isn't a pelvic or a hip joint. This is actually a shouldblade from something, elk or maybe a Musk oxen. From the looks of the picture it comes from the rightside of the animal. Write back if you would like Mrs. Hollinger.
