Cynthia was the catalyst in getting us to visit Africa. As a young boy I had dreams of visiting Africa. The wild game and the adventure were the stuff of legend. But we grow older with life's responsibilities pulling us from our dreams, or abandoning our dreams alltogether.

Before we left I was not at all sure it would be a fun trip. I had forgotten my "childish" dreams. There was a lesson learned here. This was the most fun I had ever had on vacation. Rediscovering our hopes and dreams as children and letting go of our adult cynicism may be one key to a fuller life.
