Our first trip to Africa, August 2006.

Our friends Cynthia and Jim had urged us to join them in Africa each year. In 2006 Ellen and I agreed to go. The four of us visited bush camps in South Luangwa National Park and one on the Zambieze River where Cynthia and Jim know the owner. From there we parted ways. Ellen and I travelled on to Benguerra Island, Mozambique. Africa may restore some of your lost childhood wonder at the wild.
