Prince of Wales Hotel 2

Waterton Lakes National Park

Opened in 1927 and located in Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta, Canada, the Prince of Wales Hotel is one of the most photographed hotels in North America. A dramatic curtain of the Canadian Rockies surrounds this stately hotel set high on a bluff overlooking Waterton Lake and the town of Waterton. As part of the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park, this idyllic location just north of the Canadian border gives the hotel an international flavor. This 86-room hotel, named after Prince Edward, offers a traditional British atmosphere complete with afternoon tea. Its romantic appeal has made it a favorite for honeymooners for more the half a century.

Ohhh. If I start saving now, maybe I can go and live there for the rest of my life, right on the top floor there... I would die so happy.

What a stunning shot. Inviting, but also reminds of the hotel in The Shining. :-)
