Peyto Glacier is about 5km to the south of Peyto Lake above a rock wall that only climbers can scale. Hikers can only gaze up at the wall and dream of the view from the top. Peyto Lake, high above the Bow Summit along the Rocky Mountain Trench, is fed by the runoff from the Peyto Glacier which gives it the magnificent blue colour. Located between Lake Louise and Jasper on the Icefields Parkway.
