Squaw Creek Eagle

Squaw Creek NWR, Missouri

TODAY WAS AN AMAZING DAY AT SQUAW CREEK NWR.. MANY EAGLES FOLLOWING THE SNOW
GEESE.. THE COUNT WAS 150+...

THIS IS AN IMMATURE EAGLE THAT FLEW SO CLOSE THAT I FELT LIKE I COULD HAVE
TOUCHED HIM.. VERY UNUSUAL BEHAVIOR..

Superb capture. I did once recently have a turkey vulture fly right into my camera lens. I wasn't so fortunate to get a wonderful shot like this out of it. Nice work Tom. Bet this one alone made the day well worthwhile. Vote :)

Gotta love those exhilarating close encounters, Tom. Great documentation.
