Had lunch at the Anderton Boat lift in Northwich today (had another meeting Zak!)

Worth a look. It allowed, and does again, canal boats to change canals
with a vertical lift of 50 feet (16m)

Was recently renovated at a cost of £7m and is well worth a visit.

We went to Northwich last August Bank Holiday but decided not to go to the boat lift - mistake! It's good that money has been spent renovating it!
