- 23rd Feb 2005 - Drops of Snow

Well the new fitness regime started today!
After the school run, email check etc., took brisk walk
down the lane, camera in-hand. Target is to do it daily!
And then start swimming - no not down the lanes! :)

We haven't had serious snow on the West side of the UK
so this is the only reference to snow I can make...

Thought I'd offer educational 'aids' for you city types too
(all from 'Picton Lane'):

Field: Hedge: Fence: Fedge:
Cows: Gate: Trees:

Enough for now :) See you tomorrow when we're forecast real snow!!

Pretty flowers. Looks like spring has arrived for you. Great time to start a fitness regime. Now sticking to it is more difficult. :)

Love this one Ian. I'm exhausted from reading all your doing in a day :>)

Seems like spring is on its way to the UK! On the west coast of Norway, where I live, it is freezing these days. No snow, though. Very educational series, by the way ;)

We had snowdrops, but now buried deep under real snow !

Wow it certainly is a green and pleasant land you live in Ian. We're snowed in and won't see any snowdrops for at least a month.
Zak23-Feb-2005 20:37
we've no snow and so far i haven't seen a single snowdrop either! :-/

Lovely shot. The countryside shots make me feel nervous though - too much mud and not enough shops.!

Lovely snowdrops. Apparently, the real snow's coming tonight. Another night of worrying how much there will be when I wake up and which route I need to take to work! Up and down the hills when it's fine, flat arterial route if it's snowing - unfortunately along with everyone else!

We have snowdrops too. We were cycling this weekend and Ethel my wife says 'look at the snowdrops" -I didn't know what she was talking about and we didn't go back to see - so now I know - nice shot Ian!

Too much snow here, Ian. You can have some of ours if you like!
Guest 23-Feb-2005 17:48
I like snowdrops. I like your sense of humour too!!!!

Very nice Ian, don't believe I have ever seen these before.

Beautiful snowdrops! I like your educational photos, Ian.

Are we really gonna get snow in this part of the country?? Hmmm, I bet it doesn't reach Southport! Nice snowdrops though and I like your pics for the city peeps, made me smile :-)
