Icicle growing up!

I was amazed, and somewhat amused ;) to see this huge icicle growing upwards. I had to get my hand and camera wedged into a corner to take this shot, press the shutter button and hope for the best. The icicle - or whatever it is called - if it is growing upwards maybe it has a different name - is about 8 or 9 inches at the moment, and will probably continue to grow as the water from the pipe above drips down onto it if the sun keeps shining. I like the sparkle I managed to capture at the very tip.

I don't know why, but I'm laughing out loud over here ;-) This is well done, especially considering you may have been laughing as well. Good, odd and well done Tricia. g

Good eye, got a nice shot at such a difficult angle, kind of looks like a finger.

In truth this looks like a very huge fish jumping out of the water and froze there! A terrific shot Tricia! Great capture of the sparkle. \/
