I did not take a photo all day Sunday I just realised, so here is another from Saturday's sunshine after the rain. I bought this hibiscus some months ago as I loved the shade of pink and also it's interesting foliage. I am pretty sure that the flowers were darker at first, it had a flower every day all summer but has slowed down now and the latest flowers seem paler than they should be.
It is always difficult to know how to focus on a hibiscus flower, whether to get the stamens in focus or not, and this time I decided to leave them OOF to concentrate on the petals, raindrops and the shadow of the stamens.
