My hunch was correct. When looking at this image in your black and white gallery, I had forgotten that I had seen it. The color of his shirt and skin definitely compete with meaning here. It is much, much more effective in black and white.

The man in the picture is a friend of my family, I have known him since I was about 10 years old, and we managed to meet up in Chengdu. He had just finished a long trip to Tibetan villages and was at he end of his trip and obviously tired, I don't think he noticed me taking the picture
