Looks like a macro focusing problem here. The camera probably focused on the wall between these two heads. Be sure to lock focus on the artwork, by focusing one of those heads with the shutter button halfway depressed, and then recompose the frame to include both heads before gently squeezing the shutter. In that way, the camera can focus on the art, and not the wall at center.
