Property owner: Barbara A. Vernaza
After surviving the high wind forces of Hurricane Wilma this large old Black Olive tree was butchered by Edwin Landscaping and Lawn Service the day after the hurricane. It is dead in this photograph but left to stand for 5.5 more months before it was finally chopped down near ground level. Will the Town of Miami Lakes or the Architectural Control Committee require the homeowner to replace this tree with a tall native shade tree? If not, why not?
