Property owner: Barbara A. Vernaza
The large old protected Mahogany tree is permanently disfigured, with half the main branches dead from the butcher job on it by Edwin Landscaping and Lawn Service on August 25, 2005, the day after Hurricane Wilma struck South Florida. This tree used to provide the home considerable shade from the sun in morning to mid-day hours. Perhaps the resident loves to pay more for electric usage due to higher air-conditioning consumption?
Did Edwin Landscaping (what a misnomer!) and Lawn Service have an occupational license to do business in the Town of Miami Lakes on the date of this carnage? They certainly aren't a certified arborist if they do this type of destruction on native trees in violation of the Miami-Dade Tree Protection Ordinance.
