several o'my irish ancestors were THRIVERS o'the famine.... they lost multiple others due to an event that COULD HAVE BEEN STOPPED!!!! GENOCIDE REALITY!!!! :(:(:(:(

My father's father came out from Northern Ireland to NZ in 1880
Thank you for the link - I knew about the Potato Famine, but learnt a lot more - this is a wonderful sculpture
