French painting

Painting by Louis Pastour (1876-1948)
Purchased in Cannes ~ April, 2007 during our first visit to the South of France


This is not the same Louis Pasteur (1822-1895) who is the father of microbiology, invented pasteurization, or developed the rabies vaccine.
I have been to the Pasteur Institute in Paris and highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in the sciences.
