Red Hot Chili Peppers

Homegrown red hot chili peppers.
We use them in a number of foods, but my favorite way to enjoy these peppers is to cook raw shrimp in plenty of olive with these sliced peppers (no seeds) added to the mixture.
Serve with fresh country-style bread to soak up the spicy olive oil.

Here in the South Pacific we are not hot on chili peppers, but tastes are changing. I like your artistic presentation Stephanie.

Such a perfect seasoning. Do you dry any?
Walter Otto Koenig09-Sep-2009 14:45
Great shot. I like the treatments on these. I'd make a Thai condiment out of these with fish sauce, lime, water, garlic and sugar.
