This photographer snuck up dangerously close to this grazing mule, and was certainly not one of our group. Half of us were trying to wave to her to get away, and the other half ready to capture the moment. Good news - the photographer was able to get her shot and tiptoe back away intact. I really don't think the helmet would have provided enough protection should she have drawn the anger of her subject.
