Neuenstein, Germany

Origins of the castle date back to the Staufen Period and came into the possession of the Counts and Princes of Hohenlohe around 1300.
It was rebuilt in the Renaissance Style around 1600.
Today it houses a Museum and is used for concerts in the huge Hall of Knights.

Wow! Such a gorgeous structure. It would be a huge undertaking to build something like that today. One can imagine the time and cost of this over 400 years ago. V.
