Japanese Magnolia

It was time to visit the local Japanese Garden where the trees are in full bloom.
The saucer Japanese flowering magnolia is known for its very large pink
magnolia flowers that bloom early in the spring and are extremely sweetly fragrant.

Oh yes - they are so very beautiful Tom! Every year they come out at this time here and mostly they get hit by rain or snow and cold. It is such a pity, but this year it seems to be ok.
