Burg Trifels

Annweiler, Germany

"Trifels" means "triple rock". The mountain with the three peaks has always been considered a
special place. Each of the summit bears a castle, one of them rebuilt, the other two in ruins.

I do love a castle on a hill! but 3? I have never seen this before. Good find! never been to Germany but perhaps I will if architect Jakob Tigges, finishes 'The Berg'!...with my ski's!
