@Salvatore: What's to say except that it was there and very much admired by all who either visited on in country R&R or frequented it like many of us "Saigon Warriors". @Keith... or so I'm told... I "never inhaled" either. ;-)

Hello Tom, I am looking for information on a painting i purchased from a woman in Texas. The picture is of a Vietnamese girl that is naked except for a pair of panties. Her hands are behind her head as if she was emphasising her breasts. I am trying to find a Viet Nam vet that might shed some light on the painting. The painting was supposedly hung on the wall behind the bar at a club called The Tiger Lounge i think in Saigon. The painting was bought by a vet and brought it to the U.S.The vet that brought it home is now deceased but the ladie told me that the family tells of vets that remember the painting on the wall while on r&r. in Saigon.Any information you might come up with would be greatly appreciated.Thank you. Best regards Sal.

Great shots Tom. Wish I could find a time machine so I could experience Tu Do Street.

Keith, you must have been the ONLY soldier who DIDN'T visit Tu Do Street ...

This is a great picture. It looks like "To Do Street" might have been a real interesting and fun place for a soldier to hang out. I wish now that I had visited the street when I had a chance back in "66" instead of spending all my time at the nearby USO Building drinking milk and eating cookies.
