Very nice shot, Tom. It really seems out of place, somehow, in the middle of a war. But I am sure there were lots of these anomalies. You only think about them by being there and seeing them in context. ~V~
This beautiful pavillion was in a small island, in the middle of a small lake at the Saigon's zoo. My dad used to take pictures of me standing on this bridge everytime we visited the zoo. When I came back in 2002, I was shocked to see this pavillion was replaced by an ugly aquarium covered around with rusty corrugated blue metal sheet. I was speechless, dumbfounded!
