... this Military Police jeep carries two MP's from the 716th MP Battalion which handled all the policing in the Saigon Metropolitan area. The scene shown is on Hai Ba Trung Street in the busy city center.

Jim Taylor, in early December 1965 there was a car bomb at the Metropole Hotel across the street from the International Hotel. 1 MP wounded, several VN civilians killed.

I am looking for the date of an explosion across from the International Hotel on Tran Hung Dao in late 1965 or early 1966. Don't know if anyone was hurt and it may have been claymore explosions.

Are you aware of the battle of Hai Ba Trung. 1966 I was part of it. 716 MP. A VC
