"NO SQUEAK" SHOES ... 1966

This business card for uniforms, shoes, badges, whatever, was furnished from the archives of Bruce Talmadge. I think having shoes that don't squeak is still a great selling point ...

Thank you for this great trip into the "way back" machine.... Awesome images.

As for the no squeak shoe issue, I can wholeheartedly state I also am a fan of squeak free shoes whenever possible.

I was in Hong Kong in 1972 on R&R while stationed aboard the USS Saratoga aircraft carrier. I haven't looked at my slides for man years, but this has inspired me to dig them out.

Yes! No squeak is a great selling point. I hate squeak!
