This is a close up of the bright star in the Orion Nebula photo in this galary. I received a comment about the wedge shape at 5 o'clock on this star. That could be casued by an issue with my telescopes optics, or what I think the reducer flattener I used. If you look at the Orion photo using the large view, you will notice that the stars in the center of the photo are nice and round. As you move toward the upper left they get increasingly distored. in the opposit direction the wedge distortion seems to worsen.
I'll take some photo's of bright stars with my scope without the reducer flattener and see if I have an issue with my scopes optics.
