Ok, I know this is (as a friend from across the waters would say) a cack photo, but it was the best that happened today.
I spent the day recovering from a long and arduous week by taking a long nap.
Tonight we went out for dinner and then on to a Christmas party to make an appearance.
The cold cloudy skies finally opened and washed the streets and cleared the dust from the air.
Lights everywhere were reflected in the streets and pavements.
This is a shot of the lights and the rain from inside the car.

ps. tonight's title is a play on a Christmas song from the 1940's (I think it's from the forties. at least, the version I've been listening to, by the Andrews Sisters, is from then...)
and the Japanese term "bokeh" used in photography...
