It seems like Fall is always slow to show itself here in town.
Here at the house, I have three small trees that show their color when nothing else does.
I have to look quick, though. The leaves seem to turn brown before they hit the ground.
In the meantime, there are shades of yellow, orange, red and even purple for a few days.
It's all over too soon for me.
If I could stop time, I'd sit in the yard in the late afternoon sun and soak it all up forever...
