In a few hours we leave for a weekend at the beach. We've been planning this for a few weeks. A weekend in the sand and surf
for us and the dogs. Actually, the dogs are the main item. They've never been and we've wanted to take them for some time.
The little town we stay in on the coast has a hotel that caters to dog owners and we wanted to try it out.

But, alas, it's been raining here in California for the last few days. The low pressure system has been stalled right off the coast
and now it's really coming down. How much fun will that be for the dogs? Sophie doesn't mind the rain (I saw her sitting out
in the stuff when I got home last night...) but Jack is a bit of a priss when it comes to getting wet. Maybe he won't mind, though.
The beach has a lot to smell and see...

I won't be posting again until we get back on Sunday. Maybe I'll have some pictures?
