January 30th - First Daffodil

The day started out clear and warmed with the sunshine. Warm enough to putter about in the yards. I spent some time
stacking firewood and cleaning the red brick paths. All the rain has started the green of spring in the hills and even
here at home. While I was out and about I noticed the very first daffodil getting ready to bloom.
None of the others have any flowers. Yet here is the first, ready to go...

Seems as though winter just got here and now there are flowers coming up...
