I have a tradition. Every year, after Thanksgiving, I put up the christmas lights on the house. Usually I do this on saturday, but
this year Cathi and I were in Fresno for a basketball game. So I started on the job today. I spent some time checking the outdoor
light strings and all of them had bad places; sections of the lights that don't work. I put an hour into tracking down the
problems, without luck, when I finally gave up. They only last a few years or so, then it's time for new lights! These have lasted
almost four. Later this week, I'll stop on my way home and buy some new sets, then this weekend I'll be about the job again...
