In the States and Canada, Labor Day is the first monday of September.
It's a holiday in honor of working people and has roots in the late 1800's.
Most people think of this day as the traditional last weekend of summer.
Were that it was so. We're looking at hot weather, upper 90's and even 100's.
I spent the day in a reclining position on the couch with a good book.
