August 11th - Muy Caliente!

The heat continues... 104º today....

In keeping with my B/W and heat theme, this is a Habenero chile that Marco is sampling.
They're one of the hottest around. Don't try this unless you're very brave or very stupid!

Fortunately, Marco only got this close to the chile and he still complained of a little taste in his mouth!!!

Fun! What about a "selective colour" version so that we can still have the b&w but see
the flame-red of the pepper too?

I think I like the b&w better, but that pepper has some awesome color! Compositionally, this is totally excellent! Nice, Todd!

ooh hot. reminds me of Woman on top for some reason. Actually any chili would remind of Penelope but still...

I like the B&W. I am doing a month long B&W too. I looked up a lot of Cartier-Bresson's photos and they are extremely wonderful.

I like the color, just because of the color of the pepper, but the other color is distracting. I LOVE this b&w.. excellent detail and tones, Todd
