I'd like to say that I "found" this while wandering in east Bakersfield
but the reality is, having grown up not far from here, I've been well aware of this sight.
I can't say how many times over the years I've been by here and said to myself it would make a nice shot.
Today I finally got the photo.
I should say here: many times I've seen something I thought would make a nice photo...
and returned later to find it covered, missing, painted over or simply torn down.
Photographers: carry your camera with you always... you never know if what you see will be there next time.
