An oft-visited sign here in my photos.
It was scheduled to be covered over with some new advertisements.
A worker was prepping it many weeks ago but it's still here...
The chip marks in the face of the sign are from the last time it was covered... with plaster!
7/31/09 UPDATE: On my way home from work tonight I saw that the whole side of the building has been painted white, obliterating this gorgeous bit of history...
