I saw this snake earlier today stretched out against a fence. It had a little dkr grey body color w/the same lge funny circles outlined in blk that came in in the middle w/a patchwork grid. It did not move and needless to say neither did I except backwds. Went to get a nghbr so she could see & they could watch out - 2 drs dwn, when I got back it was gone. It was at least 5-6' in length and very fat around. It is shown as a timber rattler which are common in AL in heavy brush. Would you agree w/my ID? I saw neither the head nor tail. Thank you,
