26 July 2009 - I did the final snow-walk with Brad before the big Overland Track in August. Compared to last year, we had less snow but fantastic views all day, seeing all the way to mountains such as Mt Buller, Mt Clear as well as the Crosscut Saw. It was interesting to see all the icicles dangling off tree branches and rock faces as we ascended to the summit of the Bluff from Bluff Carpark. Slipped a few times on snow getting to Mt Eadley Stoney but came out OK for next week's 8 day journey in Tasmania.
