With technology today, I'd much rather carry my iPhone that provides very good 30fps 1080p capability and with the right app, 3x zoom.

Although, before I'd buy any additional brackets for it, I'd just pop my Sony HD Camera in my coat pocket and have 42x at full 60p 1080p quality.
