this is a fantastic painting - sears itself on the memory - Kiefer finally allows us,70 years later, really to locate Albert Speer AND the appalling destruction meted to Germany by the RAF and related forces. Astonishing. I saw it today (October 23 20124) at the Royal Academy London - and it does not look at all like this photograph! It is nearly white!
