triangular pond

Henrietta, NY

We moved into our new house in February.
The previous owner had disclosed that there was a pond with fish; but
we had only seen the yard covered in snow.
We had no idea what to expect.
The back corner had been dug out to collect water; and it is home to koi
and green frogs. It has been so dry lately that it wasn't much more than a puddle.
Today it rained and being the low spot in the yard, it filled right up.
There are wild "wet-lands" behind the property,
so it is not out of character with the surrounding environment.

How wonderful to see your pond slowly reveal itself.

Hope the fish are OK. I really like the tones in this.

What about the koi? Did they dry up?
Neat capture of your new wetlands! :)

Interesting processing and toning. So are Koi still alive and of any size?
