I took this picture 3 weeks ago. Someone emailed me the information about this goose.
According to the neck collar, he was banded in August of 2002 as an adult male 35 miles NW of Winisk, Ontario, Canada.

Interesting! We have Canada Geese here as well, but I've never seen one with a collar. Beautiful photos!

Wow! It doesn't look comfortable to me. I guess he is being tracked. Soon, he will be home but Chicago is okay too.
