Vanity's Bitter Harvest

Franklin,TN

Some of the 1496 Confederate soldiers interred at Carnton Plantation on two acres donated by Mr. McGavock. They were from Tennesee.
7 hours...7000 killed, wounded or missing...
It was November 30,1864. The surrender at Appomattox was but five months away.
