Sunset from Susanville, California

Today I drove 740 miles straight through from Sultan, WA to Susanville, CA to be here for the solar eclipse tomorrow. A beautiful drive, but very long. Only stopped for breakfast in the morning, twice for gas, and once for... well you know! Nothing to eat or drink between breakfast and arrival here. Total drive time was exactly 11 hours. That's moving right along!
