Succulent

Eldorado Hills, California

This is an unusual plant to me, but was in bloom in Eldorado Hills, California, when I went for my brother-in-law's wedding last weekend. More shots to come from the event...

Wonderful photo with great focus, colors and DOF!

Gorgeous bokeh. I can see why it's called a bottle brush, but I never would have been able to ID it.

Ha, that's funny because I thought the bottle brush plant was an Australian native! However, you cna also get a version in the UK but it does not have such a succulent broad leaf. Andrea

Mrs. Flood wins the "name the plant" contest...
Had no idea.
Thanks, Cindy..

It looks like the Bottle Brush tree that I had in my yard in Florida. This might be a variety of that plant (or maybe not.)
I love the bokeh from your fine lens and the subject is bright and sharp!
